Who holds a special place in your heart that you want to hold to forever? These are precious moments that you are spending together and I want to help you preserve these memories to pull out and reflect on for years to come.
I am offering a series of mini-sessions for you to choose from nearly every month of the year so you can capture a Slice Of Life during each season of the year. You can choose one or two minis, or you can bundle them together in groups of 4 or 8 and save! So many of us love that summer beach photo, or the fall family photo that goes on the Christmas card. Slice-of-Life offers you gardens and blossoms, campfires and clotheslines, snow, and American flags. Each session is built around an experience, an activity, and beautiful seasonal backgrounds. Can I share with you a few reasons why having a time capsule collection of 2024 can be incredibly rewarding?
How much does a child change throughout the year? By building a collection, you can document growth and development all year long, from a tiny newborn to his first steps and toothy grin. Perhaps you want to document stages of your pregnancy and all of the anticipation of your beloved baby. So many changes can happen in a year and you won’t want to forget the moments along the way.
The days are long but the years fly by. This is a way of stopping the speed of time and creating a time capsule. It is hard to be in the moment and keep our minds engaged with all that is happening all around us. We are so prone to forgetting. Let me help you relive these days when your heart needs to remember.
Photo Diary
Do you journal regularly? Whether you do or your don’t, having photographs along the way will give you visuals to go in a diary that can tell YOUR family’s story. Maybe you’re documenting your love journey as a couple, perhaps as engagement photos or capturing an anniversary. Your future family will be so grateful, as this visual story will become a treasured possession.
These Slice-of-Life Minis are built around an experience. This quality time we’ll be spending together will create memories with your loved ones. I will encourage conversations, meaningful touches, and a game or activity that will draw you into the moment and you may forget that I’m even there! These photos will bring you back as you reflect on them, and your relationships will be strengthened.
Whether you’re a mama having these photos taken or you are scheduling these photos for your small business branding, there is a good chance you’ll be doing some self-reflection. It’s good to have these documented as proof you’ve grown through the years, that your character has developed, and you can celebrate personal achievements. It may also stir some areas where personal growth can be evaluated, and you decide you need to “level-up”. Progress over perfection!
Life is unpredictable, and we’ve got to hold onto the moments we’re given. Tomorrow is never guaranteed and our mind is so prone to forgetfulness. I’ve been more mindful of preserving my own youngest daughter’s year, and the honest, relaxed, joyful beauty of her precious soul shines through.
